We proudly provide services throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area, including the Northern Suburbs, North Eastern Suburbs, Eastern, Western, Southern suburbs, the Adelaide Hills, and surrounding regions. We assess each referral individually and aim to be as flexible as possible to ensure participants receive the support they need.
Our onboarding process is designed to be efficient and welcoming. Once we receive a referral and complete the initial consultation, we aim to commence services as quickly as possible, subject to participant preferences and support worker availability. Wherever possible, we prioritise urgent support requests.
Matching the right support worker is one of our highest priorities. We take the time to understand each participant’s goals, personality, interests, routines, communication style, cultural background, and preferences. We believe successful outcomes are built on genuine relationships, not simply filling roster vacancies.
We understand that not every personality match will be perfect. If a participant feels a support worker is not the right fit, we will arrange a replacement promptly and professionally, with no judgement or unnecessary complications. Our priority is ensuring every participant feels safe, respected, and supported.
All AC Empowerment Services staff are required to hold the appropriate NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, Working With Children Check (where applicable), First Aid certification, CPR certification, and any other mandatory qualifications relevant to their role. We maintain strict compliance with all legislative and industry requirements.
Every participant’s goals are central to the support we provide. We regularly review progress, maintain accurate case notes, and document achievements throughout the life of the plan. We can also prepare progress reports and supporting documentation for NDIS plan reviews, helping participants demonstrate outcomes and advocate for the supports they need moving forward.
